  • "Three sisters spent 4 nights here and enjoyed this super clean and convenient cabin. It's not huge, but it's well laid out and worked great for us; everyone had their own sleeping space. Kitchen was well equipped; we did a little light cooking. Great view of the lake and sunset from the living room area and from the deck. We had perfect weather, so there was a good breeze the whole time from the lake. Was closer to the lake access than we thought; it's not a huge beach but super convenient for launching a kayak or swimming. Overall we really loved staying here, and the three of us kept saying to each other,this place is just perfect! Highly recommend."

  • "I don't use the word lightly: awesome. love this beautiful lake Mille Lacs that feels like an ocean. Great house. Great value. Book it. This will be a long, positive review with some details for you. We stayed weekend in Aug with 7 people (my wife, myself, 3 boys, and 2 grandmas. Our lake access was about 20ft wide and covered with snail shells. I brushed them aside with a paddle. The lake is as described, smooth sandy, less than 2 ft deep for about 50 ft from shore. We used the kayaks with the a kid sitting in my lap. They absolutely loved it, and so did I. View from the deck is great. Neighbors houses are on either side and pretty close, but it was still very quiet. View from inside not as good. Main level has 1 full bathroom, 2 bedrooms with 1 queen in each. Plenty of bath towels and beach towels. Upstairs loft is where 5 of us slept. 2 single beds, 1 queen, toy nook, and bathroom with toilet and sink. Lots of miscellaneous kitchen supplies, seasonings, etc. We'll be back."

  • "Our family spent a week at this cabin and really enjoyed it. The sleeping spaces are nicely divided between the loft and two bedrooms. Everything in the cabin in well-organized and thought through. The kitchen is well-appointed and had everything we needed to cook most of our meals there. The lake is right out the front door. While the beach is small, that was never a problem for us. The water is nice and shallow for quite a ways out, making it perfect for kids. There were kayaks and a paddleboard as well that made our time in the lake extra fun. Thanks for a great stay!"

  • "We loved this stay! It was dog friendly, very clean and had everything we needed! We had perfect fall weather for a couple hikes nearby at Kathio state park and father hennepin. The dogs loved swimming at the beach and watching the sunset. It was the perfect fall escape from the city. Jacqui was a great host! We would love to come back."
